Well we get up this morning to a 2hr. 40min. flight delay. An upshot of Wednesday evenings return flight from the USA delayed by a suspicious parcel, at this end!! Plane held under armed Police till 16.00. (That's a long day). It can help to have friends at a time like this. Will update later.

So, instead of having to come out on the original flights new time of 16.00 we got a place, sitting together, on the 13.40 one. Now sitting in our local Denny's awaiting food and coffee. 19.28 here.

Bloody hell, is there any real reason, the suspicious parcel stuff is starting to wear thin.. I mean why are they armed police ?. It,s not like a parcel even if it is suspicious can argue the point ?... Before you know it, it will take a SWAT team to take a parcel into custody..

Yesterday we went to the "Showcase of Citrus" to buy some of their Marmalade Shirl likes.
Only 15 minutes up the US27.

Tuesday evening saw us having dinner at Lazy Dog on the US 192 wit Steve and Wendy who we haven't seen for quite a while. Me and Steve went for the Bison Meat Loaf which turned out to be a great choice.
The weather spoiled it by producing a large thunderstorm as we came to leave though. A chat and drink at ours afterwards made it better.
Earlier we went up to Lowes for some necessary spares.
We spotted some Halloween things our Abz would love.
More money than sense comes to mind.

Off to the Hurl of Sandwich for breakfast this morning. Out the front door to see this lot hoovering up what ever it is dropping from the trees.

Went to the Davenport Diner for lunch (after a recommendation last night) on the side of the US27. Oddly it's just inside the Haines City limit, but worth it. Very good VFM.

We went to the All American Custom Car Show at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee 2 years in a row. That was a few years before Vovid though.
