Here vs there-.org vs .net

I've been on here for a short while now (granted I'm yet to make a major contribution...) but I was wondering...

Is zroadster.org related/part of or dead against/disliking zroadster.net?

It seems much quieter over there, and so i tend to stay here. I found both before i bought the Zed, and i did check to see if i was asking a question which has been asked before.

There was a similar thing when i had a Hyundai Coupe a year or two back-now they sorely disliked each other.....!
 
Put it this way, the "other" place is often referred to as .snot. it that any clearer?

ps. This forum, thanks to its founders, is much,much more user friendly and more of a community or family atmosphere.
 
I rarely log on to .net mainly because I use my phone and it's not phone screen size friendly like here. Zorg seems to me to have more atmosphere, just my view and no disrespect to the other channel.

There was some history when we started, delve deep enough in to some of the very early threads here and I'm sure you'll find some of it.

This site started as a stop gap when t'other site went down for a long period of time. It was only going to be temporary, but for a number of reasons people asked to keep it going and it grew from there. A few float between both, and some people have their personal preference.

I personally haven't visited there for quite a few years so have no idea what's what, have my hands full with you lot on here :whistle:.
 
All the members you see that joined around Dec 2011 came over to here when Gary and @board started this site as he says as a temp measure when .net went AWOL for a couple of months
 
Forgot to say we did not know what to do over the Xmas period. What no banter n all
 
The 'other one' comes up 'Not secure' if I go on it. Much better over here anyway despite the fact that plonkers like me are on it.:)
 
I started on .snot and made some very good friends on there before I knew this site existed. @David invited me of .net to join @Rha and @BMBabe birthday bash at Silverstone. I never looked back! The difference is night and day, it then came apparent that half my now good friends were on both sites.
@GazHyde made such a friendly to use site and the banter and knowledge of some of the members here far out ways the antiquated dark side.
I never look in anymore and spent far to much time on here to the point where it is becoming bad for my health! I may aswell start smoking again!! :D

I am a member on .net but never use it, far too cliquey, this place is much nicer
