I was wondering if any one can help me collect some goods bought of E Bay, the part a Trailer Hitch is collection only in Ramsey PE26 2YF and post on to me.

If local to Ramsey can someone help me out I will pay any costs for fuel time and Postage costs.

Thank you so much, I have PM'd details you are a gent, if you could collect it and let me know when you have it that would be much appreciated. The one on my trailer was faulty, cost of a new one £256+VAT+Postage, so was a bargain I could not miss, not worried it has been bent have parts of old one to replace with.

Yes, Jersey just off the coast of France. Nice little job delivering a camper van. Ten hour ferry trip tomorrow so I have lots of reading matter.

I almost visited there. When I was working on the cruise ship for Caesars, we were at La Havre where I took a train to Paris. Coming back, I didn't understand which train to get back on until it already passed and had to get the next train. As a crew member, I had to be back on board the ship a half hour before they pulled the gang plank. I make it about 2 minutes before they pulled it and so paid the penalty of not being able to go ashore at the next port which was Jersey. At that time, Sean Connery was supposed to be living there and I just wanted to see the island. Frankie

My sort of work, always thought about doing something like that self employed. How did you get into that if you don't mind me asking?

kept my trade plates and insurance going after I closed my forecourt down, now work part time for local dealers who need stuff moving, or inspecting/buying.
It really just came about because I'm well known locally and dealers like people they can trust, and know their way around a car.
Got to know most of them visiting the auction twice a week for many years. But most dealers need people like us, might be worth visiting a few to see them and asking.
