I could be interested BTW, I like the idea of the recent mods/fixes to the car -- only problem is the location!

The unwritten rule of selling a car is always ask for more than you really are willing to take for it. Whatever figure you decide on Sam, add £500 and see where that takes you. I hope you'll be pleasantly surprised and find a buyer soon.

Tony.

Thanks everyone
A deal might be going down with Mum. She loves the z more than me haha.

Although it still may be for sale.

Shame as I had looked forward to attending one of the meets/cruise. Any going down over the next few weeks?

Good luck mate, shame you have to sell but don't sell it too cheap mate. You can keep in touch with us all anyway.

I keep a close eye on prices and if it was any other engine size I could give you a firmer idea from experience. But the 2.8s are in my blind spot as they've never appealed to me so I don't look out for them so much.

But my finger in the air was try at £4,250 and see where it goes. Having just trawled through ebay 'sold for' listings there are cars with half the mileage going for under £4k. If your's was an average 100k'er I'd say £3,250. But you've got all those nice bits and the recent maintenace history and I think that could add between £500 and £1,000 to the value. So I'll stick by the £4,250 punt and say aim for £3,750 which is inline with Tony's £500 advice.

Just a personal view btw but I'm torn on the Style 78s. They are my favourite wheel style but not sure about putting a facelift style on a pre-facelift car. I think a set of staggered 5-spoke Style 18s would be my choice. None of my business I know ;)
