Guys, car electrics is a real weakness of mine and I have spent a lifetime running away from them, now I'm a bit stuck with the M seats, sorted the relay today and the switches are now lighting up however I have 2 connector blocks in the loom and only one on the seat bases, the seats have been doctored in the past as you can see the heat pad wires are black and red and connected to screw joints, where should these go,
Thanks

@Sean d My pads had a red & black wire from each pad. Out of the floor I had two connector blocks, one white ,the other black. Black had 4 wires into it, 2 brown (earth) and 2 stripped (Live feeds) All I done was 2 blacks from pads to browns and each red to striped cable.Maybe able to work it out from this??

Looking at a wiring diagram for 1998 M Seats the following is shown for the heated seats.

Seat Elements.jpeg
Colour Code.jpeg

The drivers seat should have the following wires: -
Seat Base - brown and white/red
Seat Back - brown and white/green

The passenger should seat should the following wires: -
Seat Base - brown and white/yellow
Seat Back - brown and white/blue

The cables with the chocolate block connectors on look a little too think for the seat heating for my liking, any more pics of the wiring?
