Recently I have fitted (new) sports seats, courtesy of Wildeboy, which are
great. They are heated, but my car has no switches. I have been led to believe
Wiring looms are all the same on zeds, meaning all I need are switches.
Having removed the blanking plates I cannot see any plugs which would fit the switches!
Have I got my mans eyes in or is there a possibility that they are not there?
Or hidden away in a corner somewhere?
Anybody had the same problem or any suggestions.
Thanks in anticipation
Brian

They are there (well on my 2.8 they are) but I needed the console out to get at them as they were tucked away...

Yes, much rummaging is required! Took me a while to find them on my '99 2.0, but they are in there somewhere!
Looks like much rummaging required but scared of disconnecting
Anything I shouldn't
Thanks again
Brian

I think mine were tucked under the carpet right under the dash somewhere, definitely out of reach.
It's not too bad to be fair, you cannot reconnect things the wrong way as the plugs only go on one way. It's just fiddly so give yourself a day (or two) and good weather!
Just be gentle with getting the heater controls and yes you will skin your knuckles unless you have clever gloves!
There are guides online that help with taking it apart.

Sounds like this will take longer and be more complicated than getting the new seats fitted Bri. It'll be worth it though, the sport seats have excellent heaters in them. 2 heat settings, comfortable and bum burningly hot.=)) Best of luck with the dismantling and even more for the reassembly;)

Mine were behind the centre console and they have very small connections like the window switches so they are not obvious i found mine the same as @Dino D tucked under the carpet .
They took some locating i had to virtually remove the console but they will be there.
