Actually in Nefyn. My, that took a while.
Model of Z
2.2i Sport
Found myself with a bit of spare time so I washed the car. And then something strange came over me, I started scrubbing between the vertical bits of the grilles on the bonnet with a toothbrush, cleaned up a treat. Then I found myself considering grinding down the edges of the toothbrush to fit into the tight bits at the edge of the grilles. Luckily I managed to stop myself, but is this behavior normal? Never before gone all OCD with a car, hope it wears off soon.

All normal, I clean my BMW dust caps :D as an aside they're much cleaner than @Antm72' s =))

That's it - you've started - it's impossible to stop. Next time you should clean the car exhaust tips to the point where they meet the inner exhaust tubing - an extended toothbrush is necessary. Then after that take the wheels off and clean the insides!:D

Each year about time clocks change the X1 and QQ get winter wheels on and the summers get a good clean prior to storing , but also do the Z3 wheels even though they have no winters. Yes I really do need to clean the exhaust tips they are looking bit neglected. Could do it tomorrow , but just seen weather forecast. Driving not cleaning

A jet wash with snow foam makes very light work of the wheels. It surprises me when i clean them how dirty they are even when they look quite clean!

Cleaning the grill slats...now I've not thought of that...better get on it...
Tooth brush idea is good, I actually have a set of kids ones that are a good size ;)

But thinking maybe a blind cleaner like this will be handy:

Less than £2 on eBay but I reckon I should get a bunch and call them 'BMW grill slat cleaner - gentle cleaning micro super duper extra cosseting gently nourishing precision detailers tool' and sell it for £20 a piece!

When I had to, I would stop and park the car to get out to fart then wait ten min before I got back in.
@Shelly needs to do that as she used an air freshener that leaked and knackered her interior......

:D

Once a week I empty the air out of my tyres, and refill them with clean stuff..

Another thing to go on the list.. makes sense to do whilst cleaning the threads of the dustcaps (the ametuers polish the dust cap but we all know its about the threads under the cap :) )

The big question is filtered air or not??

A Z3's not clean inside until you take the seats out and do under there. It's disgusting what you can find. But with the bonus usually of recovering a few coins.

Easy job. But don't forget to clean the seat rails with your toothbrush too :)

I'm now keeping a cheap 2" paint brush in my 3 Gran Turismo. When I get held up at lights/traffic I look to see if it needs a dust. I've found it needs 3 cleans a day to keep it dust free. Seriously! Dust collects at that sort of rate.

I don't have cleaning OCD by the way. But it relieves the boredom of getting stuck in traffic and is efficient use of time :)
