Help EBC Red stuff brake pads

Would some large “body” washers help in fixing the backplate mate? I have some if needed.

Not sure whats up with the back plate, trying to avoid taking the hub off if i can will probably replace back plate at some point
 
I seem to remember the plates were in good order when we changed the bearings mate.

I had the same problem last year when I put my winter wheels on. But my problem was the spacer was still in the summer wheel - in the shed!!

After further thoughts regards the wheel only catching in 1 place only 1 stud too big? Once again @t-tony bang on the fronts are shorter than the rears and 1 had got mixed up back to front the 5mm makes all the difference. Spacers back on and silent. will keep the red stuff pads off for the time being and possibly try again another day
