Hi Just bought a Z3 3.0i 2001 year it has few small issues,
previously owned cars , Singer Vogue, Vauxhall Viva HB , MG Midget 1966 , Renault 16 TS, Ford Capri 2.0 Litre S , Capri 3.0 Litre Ghis Automatic, currently have a Land Rover Discovery Sport HSE Lux.

Welcome to the Forum, you have arrived at probably the best Z Forum for information and help for your Z3 or Z4 model.
You may be lucky enough to be near one of the Zedsheds operated by fellow enthusiasts on the forum who use their home facilities to work on their cars when jobs need doing. Usual rules are the member supplies the parts and we all muck in to do the job.
Locations around the UK are Zedshed HQ near Basingstoke, Zedshed Midlands near Lincoln, Zedshed West at Lydney, Gloucestershire and Zedshed Cymru, Newport, South Wales.
Its also worth adding your location in on your user details so it appears in the left hand side of your posts or add it in as part of a signature together with the model of your car so you get answers to questions you post that are pertinant to your particular model.
Also very worthwhile to arm yourself with a decent code reader to scan your car when faults crop up. You can either go down the laptop based software such as BMW INPA or a handheld scanner like a Creator 310+ which is a good choice but not so good for models before 1999.
All available on ebay and Amazon for little outlay, they pay for themselves first time you have to use them when faults appear.

Hi Paul & Sue, lovely area around Grassington. We often take the Z up past the Gliding club, only about ten miles from us & some great zedding roads around there. We've never been for a flight though, what was it like? did you enjoy it?

Yes it was great fun , I was a glider pilot and power pilot , we flew with a friend who is a club member.
They are a very friendly bunch and will look after you very well. Give them a call and book I for a Trial Lesson Flight . They have a very comfortable clubhouse with catering .

Definitely something that we should do. One for the bucket list. Nice list of previous cars you've got there, came close to getting a Singer Gazelle once but close inspection revealed that it was probably more rust than car so sadly it went to that great scrapyard in the sky!
