If its an IOW car, likely its low mileage with the pros and cons associated with that. Also may well benefit from some good long runs as the IOW only has about a mile of duel carriageway (north of Newport). Do you have a good history, many cars are bought at Southampton/Portsmouth auctions by IOW traders, not necessarily an issue, just saying!

Well had a good look round the car seem ok but no expert the Cat is rattling so its in for a new one Monday so hopefully that should make it a bit quieter.

Going to get the guy to check the Car for any suspension issues as well.

Will update in the week

Good luck with the cat. I had to have a BMW one fitted earlier this year as non of the aftermarket ones would bring the emissions down to an acceptable level. Questions I would have are:
1. Is the current cat OEM, if so can it not be saved (and the old one has a value due to the quality of metals).
2. If an aftermarket cat is to be fitted, have the emissions tested once fitted to be sure it complies.
Good luck,
Ian

Car is back from garage and new Cat and Lambda sensor fitted and emissions are good.

Old cat had been welded at some point and was shot car drives so much better now

Guy said there are some bushes that need doing on the front and back so back in next week for that work

Other than that said the car is pretty tidy so happy days
