Hello!

Recently bought myself a 2015 Z4 after umm-ing and ahh-ing over a Z4 or an SLK - I'm sure I've made the right choice!

Got a Z4 2.0i in Stratus Grey (I think thats what its called!) with red leather interior.
Very happy with it so far. Previously owned MX5s and a Honda CRX, traded in my Lexus CT200 for this beauty :)
Trying to work out how it all works - iDrive isn't exactly easy to work out...! Loving it so far though.

Hoping there might be some meets/community down here in Dorset.

Cheers!

:welcome:to the forum from West Cumbria. You've chosen wisely over the SLK, in my view. Nice Z.

Welcome. You made the right choice, an SLK just shows you've given up on life.

Hi and welcome.

The E89 is a great car. Very civilised and great looking.

A couple of buts though. Watch out for the alloys - sadly prone to fractures on poor roads. Innocuous looking potholes can be wheel wreckers. At £750+ for an OEM replacement its not something you want.

You will likely get other drivers hassling you, cutting you up, tail-gating, not letting you pull out. Jealousy is not a pretty trait.

Having said that, you have a great choice - Enjoy in your lovely Dorset climate and countryside.
