Hello, I hate car electrics!

New here, just has a 15W constant power drain, tried all the fuses no luck, could it be the old alarm batteries no longer holding a charge, if so where are they and how to remove/change. Still got old electrical crap to remove, any ideas would be helpful, thanks.

Hi Jules welcome. What car are we talking about here? A. 15watt power drain seems a bit excessive.

Z3 1.9 1998, in two days can totally drain battery to zero light in console, after one day was fine my neighbour Mazda mechanic is having no joy as I said I hate car electrics!

Their was someone on here who had a similar problem think it might of been @Tracy Dee

Z3 1.9 1998, in two days can totally drain battery to zero light in console, after one day was fine my neighbour Mazda mechanic is having no joy as I said I hate car electrics!

The first and most notorious one would be the boot light not switching off. Easy to check by removing the bulb and seeing if the battery lasts, or, closing the boot lid with your phone inside set to record video.

Agree with @t-tony check boot light first - simple one to start with - so called loom of doom failure in boot wiring will also cause this (did on mine).
