It's a small world. The wife of the guy who sits next to me lived just a few doors from where my dad was born. Whereabouts and when?I lived in Kirkby as a kid @Redline.

Hi Oldcarman,Hello from a few miles west of you! I'm in the middle of Canada so won't be easy meeting you and your wife but welcome to the insane asylum and enjoy!! JIM
I used to have to walk down to chapel st for my dinner as church st didn't have a kitchen. My brother is nearer your age 47. He has his own business and visited chapel st a few months back and a teacher that taught him was still there after over 40 years and reconised him! He did tell me her name but I can't remember it now. You're clearly much younger than me
I went to Chapel Street and Church street too.
I was at Jeffries 67-71. Just seen a photo of FB from 65.
I did that too. Down the path on Chapel street (one of best friends lived in the house just by the start of that path).
