Hi everyone, very excited to be joining here. I just bought my 1998 Z3 1.9L 5MT over the weekend. Currently still waiting on it to be delivered, as the dealer sent out for a new title and they will be bringing it to me when they receive it. I do most of my own work on my cars at home, although this will be a bit of a learing experience since I've never owned a BMW before (mostly owned VW in the before this, and still daily a 2011 VW CC Sport 6MT). As of now, the plan is to keep the mods light and just enjoy the car for drives to work or on the weekends in the summer. With that being said, I don't know how much I'll actually get to use it in the remainder of this year when it does get delivered, since we are about to go into the snowy season and the salt on our roads ruins cars, so the Z will be getting babied and won't see the roads until the salt is gone in the spring.

P.S. From what I have gleamed off the CarFax, this Z was in the Allentown, PA area for most of it's life until a couple years ago. Not sure if anyone on here would recognize it.

Looks great! I just sold a 2013 Passat and bought myself a 2000 Z3 instead, just in time for winter also 😂 I’m from PA - Allentown is about 40 minutes away from me!
