I live in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia. Having recently lost my beloved, if rickety, green Z3 in an accident, I now have a new (to me) Atlanta Blue '97 euro roadster in perfect condition (38K on odometer). I'm looking forward to getting my Z out in the spring sun as you all are. 244715_170_orig.jpg

Welcome from Ireland!
Thank you. As it happens, I too am Irish — born in Belfast a few… many… very many years ago. A wonderful country throughout. My wife and I have driven the island a few times recently and are anxious to go back again soon. On the last trip I saw a Z3 but, strangely, the steering wheel was on the right side… lol

Hi from the centre of Canada!! I have been to Mahone Bay several times as have friends in Dartmouth and Hebbville. We love it there and if we didn't have a twelve year old granddaughter living with us we'd now be living in either NS or Holland! Sounds like you found a beautiful car. My car also has a RHD as I exported it from just outside London in 2014. 97 1.9 Boston Green 77k now. Enjoy those wonderful scenic roads you have to travel on!! JIM

Hi and :welcome: from very centre of Britain.
Hope your loss wasn't to dramatic and that no-one was hurt. At least there seems to a big upside to your accident.

re my accident:
I was on a local highway and wanted to turn left (we're in Canada; we drive on right) into a driveway to return the way I was coming from. I signalled, slowed down as did two cars behind me. A van behind them, driving at what seemed like full speed i.e., 80kmh, pulled around the other cars and hit me just as I was starting the turn. It wiped out the rear quarter panel and my door and careened into the trees in the ditch. Minor injuries all around.
My car was declared 'totalled' by the insurance agency which gave me $4000 more than I paid for it! That part was good news. My rickety green Z (240,000 km) will turn into a 'Bond' blue Z sometime next week (seller is replacing the back window).
Look mom; no squeaks! ...and the seat controls work like they should ...and the seats are heated! I also like the charcoal interior.
