Hi Ron, welcome to the home of the Zed from Southport. Agree, that's a great colour, I've got boring (but nice!) Topaz. Loads of info and help here.

Hi All
Thanks for the welcome, I've not used the car much since I got it as the weather up here is rotten just now, maybe covered about 60/70 miles and only found a couple of minor problems (I hope), the passenger side washer doesn't work very well and the passenger door window is very slow on the way down but OK on the way up, maybe it's lack of use and it'll ease up. Anyway I'm hoping for another summer like last year to go touring in it.

Hi Steven
Sorry I've been slow replying, haven't been on the forum for a while, other things have got in the way! I've had the car out a few times but still haven't really done any great mileage, hopefully this should change, the weather looks to be improving by the end of the week. I've cleaned dyed and proofed the hood which has improved it no end and managed to get the stereo working which was locked out.
I'm in the 3 towns area of Ayrshire.
Regards Ron

I'm in Ayrshire at the moment and visit every month. I've had a couple of great drives in the last few days. Port Glasgow to Kilmacolm = :wideyed:, and a quick drive to Largs .

Please keep me "in the loop" about any drives you have planned and I'll try and come along.

As we are speaking in code about where we are, I can see the fire that is on the local news from the front room :watching:.

Hello everybody
I have just taken delivery last week of a 1999 Z3 2.8 in Palmetto Green with black interior, it's done less than 70,000m and after a good inspection seems pretty sound and clean underneath apart from a bit of corrosion on one of the power steering pipes. From it's history it seems to have been regularly serviced apart from the brake fluid change which is overdue.
I have been running a TR6 for the past 16 years as a summer toy and an MGB prior to that so this is really a slightly more modern continuation, hopefully for touring and the odd car show.
