Thanks for all the welcomes everyone. I'm preparing my z for the winter jobs. Usual stuff, slipping seats dodgy fuel level meter etc. Biggest pain is the totally useless stereo though. I'll check out the forum for help.

Hi from me as well.
First thing I did was take out a third party Sony CD player and fit a Blaupunkt Car Radio sounds so much better and look the part as well.
But can only hold one CD still I can only listen to one at a time
You can pick them up on ebay for under a £100, and all the wiring just fits.

good choice. My first zed was a 2.8

You can go down your local Halfords and buy any single din stereo for less than a £100 with Bluetooth, usb, SD slots the lot.
