Hello all
I am new to Z’s and also new to forums but picked up my 2000 2.8 today. I want to get hands on in bringing it up to standard as there are a few things that need to be done.
first question, if anybody can help - what would your recommendations on cleaning the green stuff off the hood be

there are plenty of expensive products out there, and I have used a few (snake oil all of them in my opinion), but a very mild solution of clothes washing liquid detergent, a medium bristled scrubbing brush, a hose pipe and a bit of elbow grease is all you need.
