Hi everyone at zroadster.org,

I've just signed up to zroadster.org as I own a S54 2002 Z3M Roadster (built in January 2002 and registered during the following March for BMW UK).

Being in titanium silver metallic exterior paint with the imola and black leather interior and topped with the classic red hood it appears to be the only one of the 73 RHD production cars to be built in this combination. I have search all 73 build sheets to confirm this.

I purchased the car out of an estate that had been in limbo for three years so missed one service (time wise not mileage of course) so had Dick Lovett BMW Swindon recommission the car for me. The car has only recorded 60,000 miles and is in outstanding condition and drives like a dream. I had a full inspection II undertaken along with valve clearances, full coolant flush, brake fluid service, gearbox and diff oil changed. Although the tyres were all good I elected to have a full set of Bridgestone's applied. Although the car was stood up for three years (dry stored) the car went through the MOT test without any advisories so a very good indication of how that car was cared for throughout its life. The service history reflects the diligence of the previous owners too (over-serviced).

The car is mostly standard apart from an stainless steel Eisenmann rear exhaust box and AC Schnitzer roll over hoops and wind deflector. Even the classic red hood is the original!

The only challenging aspect of the car is that its owner is 57 year old, 6' 4" and 16 stone chap so its a bit snug in the cabin to say the least let alone the getting in and out!!

I've just invested in a 'slightly larger' convertible (2015 LCi BMW 650i M Sport) so I'm thinking about the cars future....

Once the weather turns for the good I will post a few photos.

Thanks,
Jules

Hi Jules, welcome me near Lincoln. Many owners are in that age group and you'll soon find the easiest way to get in and out ;)

Tony.
