Heater motor

Good morning guys and girls ,,, I’m after a little bit of advice regarding my heater motor on my Z3 ,,,, it’s only working on high speed and wondered if this was a common fault with the car and if so is it a straight forward fix ? Thanks in advance for your help and advice

It will be the rheostat that has failed. IIRC it lives under the scuttle near the wiper linkage in a Z3. @spurs fan in a coupe , Andy?
