Headlight refurb'

I'm well impressed with your result - I must do mine. Has anyone used xenon bulbs in the headlights? I find that the Z3's lights are pretty poor, especially on main beam, with very little penetration, not at all in keeping with a performance car. It's actually quite hard from behind the wheel to tell that the main beams are on. My old MGB with 7" Cibie lamps are far, far better.
 
A follow up to the headlight thread. I took out the right hand bulbs this morning and they are blue in colour and marked HQ. Does this mean anything to anyone? Are these already Nightbreaker bulbs?

no idea if they are nightbreakers but some upgraded lights do have a blue tinge to them
 
I have just purchased some 80w H7's and they are blue, they emit a nice bright white light and are much much better, I can actually see at night now.
 
Not yet seen an LED Headlight bulb which gives the correct pattern for testing aim. Would love to see some to look at though even at that price.
