good morning I'm going on holiday to France in the z on Saturday and need to do the headlamp left to right hand drive thing. Are there markers on the headlamp covers were to stick them. I have studied the euro trip photos and see round stickers fitted but is there an exact position to fit them please.

We are in Europe at the moment and we do jot fit them as you will hardly have your lights on. We do have them and have put them on in the past but do not bother now.
There should be instructions that you get with them on approx location. You need to eliminate the light going across to the left. When I have fitted them I pull up to our gates and shine the lights on and adjust the deflectors as and where before actually fitting them

Never risked not putting them on. I've seen British cars being pulled over as they leave the Channel Tunnel. Not often but it is done. Black electrical tape is a good standby.

Most Zed headlights have marks on the outer cover where to fit the deflector see pic, you can still see the remnants of mine

You should fit them even if you're not night driving as its law in most European countries to drive on dipped headlights in tunnels (and some of those can be many kilometers long) not really very considerate to be blinding Johnny Foreigner coming the other way.

After dark put your dipped beam lights on against a garage door or a wall. You should see a Kick up to the left and what you need is a "flat" beam image. The area you need to mask is below and right of the centre of the beam, the opposite of where you would think. Black gaffer tape and a sharp knife is all you need and a little trial and error.

Tony.
