My Z3 offside headlight lens is half covered in condensation on the inside, the near side is perfectly dry. Running with headlights on full beam seems to have the effect of partially drying it out, but then the issue returns.

I'm sure this will have been raised before but can't find a thread, likely me. Clearly water is getting in somewhere (car has had little use recently). Not keen on pulling it apart but is there a drain hole that could be blocked? Would a hair dryer make any difference? - my life would be at risk though.:(

Any experience of this issue that can be shared would be appreciated.:)

I've had a couple sets apart, I don't believe there we drain holes.
It's likely he butyl had dried up and letting water in
Just pop them in the oven or use a heat gun to loosen the butyl, pull it apart, clean and reseal with fresh sealant. The butyl is a pain so be neat and gentle so it doesn't get everywhere.

Seems daunting but was actually very easy- oven works great!
