Heading home.

Welcome Home :p

Cheers mate, do you want to collect your C/C switch when you get back from your holiday Sean? I can post it if you like. P&P is £3.00.

Tony.

Ok Sean thank you. Hope you all have a great time pal.

Tony.

Nice to be away but sure nice to get home isn't it!! I hope Shirl's back is getting better, JIM
Being home is nice Jim, going back to work tomorrow, well that's another thing mate:(. Shirl's back still giving her grief and she has to start a course of spinal injections soon and that's why I can't take her out to the Peaks this weekend.

Shirl has my sympathy with back trouble,I have some idea what she's going through :(.
Fingers crossed the injections help,is it sciatica,or back pain ?.

It appears that it's a herniated disc in her spine Steve. This allows the "gel" in the discs to squeeze out and when her bowel is full (sorry) it presses on it and causes her some excruciating pains down her leg and into her back. These injections may help but if not surgery will be next. That's why I daren't bring her this weekend. She has been told not to lift anything heavier than a full kettle. Every cloud etc.;)

Welcome home chum.:drinks:

Sorry to hear about Shirl's back! Hope it gets sorted with the injections.

Very similar to what I had Tony.
Eventually I was given a choice, the injections, that from many accounts don't have a long lasting affect,or the op,a micro discectomy. I went for the latter and so far so good.
Surprising how many people suffer with this and they leave you lingering for too long before you get any real help

So that's where you have been Tony - down under !!! Long way to go to see a kangaroo though - they have them at Yorkshire Wildlife park you know lol. Welcome home mate.

Sorry to hear about Shirl - hope she is feeling much better very soon. Give her a hug from me.

Dave

Glad you made it home OK. Sorry about Shirl's back. It's such an awful thing when no matter what you do, you have a nagging back pain with every move. Must be nice to get back to some cooler weather. Now you can open the window at night when you sleep and feel comfy. So did you bring your usual bag of "goodies" back with you?.....................................Frankie

Just one or two for people Frankie, would be rude not to mate.:)
