Love it, great note =))

Reminds me of a check book I had from Viz Magazine about 30 years ago. You could leave a cheque under the wiper of the inconsiderate driver;

'Thanks for parking so close you t**t, next time I'll bring a tin opener to f***ing get in'

Or similar if memory serves :D

Strange - the older I get the more intolerant and grumpy I find myself becoming. Poor driving and inconsiderate parking really p*ss me off. Is it just me?

No Rob, it's not mate.:(

Tony.

How funny =))
The other week ,I parked the Z at work and was over the white line and the amount of people said to me look at they way your parked today Shelly, it made work easier that day as people were joking about it and laughing ;)

Now I know this has been in the news about people having a go at ambulance drivers.

Twice now this has happened to me over the last few months:

10 minute wait first time
15 minute wait second time

when I asked the driver why didn't he just park a bit further along, his answer was he needs to get the quickest possible treatment for the patient.

So yes, I know it could be me next, or my relatives, and yes I get all of that, but this is just bloody-mindedness by the drivers, who know exactly what they are doing.

Why?

because if moving that extra 10 foot matters, then how come it is OK to close our local A&E, and make us travel 15 miles to the next nearest one.

Emergency vehicles depend on the good will of other road users; their drivers need to remember this.

Thing is I always move out of the way for ambulances, not for the crews benefit, but for the person in the back, that will never change as the patient is never at fault.

This I think is uniformed jobsworths pushing the limits, after high profile cases have been publicised.
I have nothing but respect for their abilities, and the job they do, and our reliance upon them,
this new attitude tarnishes it somewhat.
