Looking for some advise with my 2001 2.5l z3
Has the harmon kardon system with duel amps.
I've installed an aftermarket head unit and replaced the stock broken sub with an aftermarket duel voice coil in the stock box with some modification. I never hooked up the original sub since it was disconnected when I purchased the car and in bad condition.
Now attempting to get the new sub working and not having any luck.
The sub amp gets power, signal switch wire provides power to the amp, I can hear it click on when the key is on. I'm getting signal from the output wires from the main amp, but no output from the subwoofer amp. Ive checked directly from the amp speaker outputs, so i know it isnt just a broken speaker wire . Wondering if the amp is just faulty of if I'm missing something. Any advice appreciated!

Still no luck getting this subwoofer amp working. Looking at just replacing it with a small aftermarket. Considering using the factory subwoofer inputs and splicing to RCA but only 3 wires? Assuming they share a negative or something? See if it works I guess..lol if not I'll splice off rear speakers.
