Hi and welcome from me down in Hemel Hempstead. It's well worth upgrading the whole system which is a bit dated by today's standards, the rewards are more quality music top down. @Antm72 mod is the way to go and keeps your interior standard, mine was the cheaper non HK system and the speakers were all but shot so didn't have much choice, I actually built a sub into the top of the oddments box lid but that's a lot of work, just changing to a new updated package plus a good HU will see you smiling, but the HK centre speaker you have once changed will put the icing on the cake.

Hi all

Im new to this forum world.
Can anyone give me some advice, Ive bought a Z3 thats fitted with a Harman Kardon system.
The centre sub woofer thats mounted between the front seats is faulty.
Any recommendations on a good replacement?
Its a Dual Voice Coil speaker...

So you have a single speaker with dual coils or dual speakers?
ITs not a depth problem as the Kicker is very shallow i believe the kicker is actually bigger overall

Yeah Ive gone a bought a hole new set up, well speakers for now anyhow, head unit I have a few Alpines kicking around so will see what goes well with it all.
