The hard top is from 1996 so the rubbers would have had there best days, in and out of storage etc, but it also does not help if the rubbers on the car are knackered, A-Pillar's etc.

As for they "notoriously leak" how the hell would you know @oldcarman?
I have never seen another Wiesmann on a Z, they are as rare as rocking horse droppings.

PS on my car it was the A-Pillar's.
You can never get a hardtop fastened as tightly as a soft top.
The soft top uses the handles to fasten it down, the hardtop, two little bolts.

I believe I have a Pm from someone by the name of Mike, lives in Holland somewhere, who told me that fact and that his top always leaked. And therefore I took his word as he's such a wise man. JIM

I love you also brother! a) I'm old b) I may be stupid but my unit grades and making the Dean's List of only people with a GPA over 4.0 disproves that as mine was 4.17 out of 4.20 and I was 47 at the time. The last word could be several different words so give me a hint and put another letter in at the end. I'm too fookin old to play stupid games with you. I have enough time to sail over so make sure you have enough of that cheap dented beer cans available from your storekeepe. I mean full ones not empties. When's a good time for you?? JIM

Ooooh, my mum would come and bang your heads together
Tell me about
I should not take the bait.
The daft old git only does it to get a reaction, should just delete his posts like we have done in the past.
He is just probably very lonely at the moment though, all on his own over in the UK.
