POLL Hard or Soft?

I bought our second Zed with a hardtop as the seller wanted it to go with the car. I fitted it to drive home, took the photo you see in my signature and couldn't wait to get it off. Sold it a few months later. They do change the look of the Zed completely but for me as long as it's not raining the roof is down. Although, sometimes when it starts to pour down on a run the roof has been down, eh @Bozzy .

I can see the logic for a hardtop if you run a Zed as a daily in the winter though

Why buy a soft top car. Then make it into a vehicle that is like must other cars.

so this is why I put mine on for 2 months, january and february.

quieter
stiffens the car up
clear glass heated rear window is a godsend
two months less chance of cracking rear screen
easier to clean

and it then makes the roof down experience special once again.


also, just make a lifter out of slings and a bicycle hoist, then on a sunny winter's day, take it off single-handedly in 5 mins max
