:welcome: to the forum from West Cumbria. Great colour, be interested to see some pics of your P1800
Hi Andy, the P1800 is in a sorry state lots of rust in body but chassis is all ok, put new front wings on it about 18 years back and now inner wings need a sort out, great retirement plan but for some reason there doesn't seem to be enough time to go around.

Hi & Welcome Nice Zed  have you gone for OEM or Powerflex bushes?
I have went for the z3m bushes, on reading the forum the power flex bushes can be a bit harsh and more suited to modified cars, the bushes I have ordered are solid rubber insert rather than the ones with the see through section if you know what I mean (standard z3 bushes) I will have a look over the complete suspendsion set over the winter months, will keep it as standard as possible. Cheers

Hi from Mansfield. Sienna Red?
Yep, Sienna Red 11 bit strange as the Sienna Red 11 was only available late 2002 until the last of them in 2003 prior to that it was just Sienne Red, yet my car is March 2002 and has the S Red 11 sticker under the bonnet, this info came from the Forums so just repeating as read, anyway I bought car the as I liked the colour and most of all the 3 litre engine so all good stuff.

Many thanks for all the welcomes, really good forum with lots of great information, makes any repairs a lot easier when you see someone else going through the pain.
Many thanks again and looking forward to future discussions.

Hi Jockie, and:welcome:. Tram lining can also be caused by mixed tyres. I had Avons on the rear of my 2.8 with part worn Michelins on the front, and it tram lined quite a bit. I put new Avons on the front to match the rear, and the tram lining was completely cured, it was like driving a different car! My chum has a lovely Sienna Red 2.2 Z3 and that colour seems to be a little brighter in photographs than in real life IMHO.

Hi Bonzo, I bought the car with new tyres all round so hopefully that will be ok, I checked the lollipop bushes and they are moving all over the place, thought I would replace them first and see how it goes, all the other ball joints seem good as is the dounought coupling on the steering rack, with regards to the forum they say the rear suspension bushes can also cause the tramlining effect, if I can get driving better just now I will check out the suspension in more depth in the winter months when it is off the road, I think your right about the brighter colour in pictures, more of a burgundy/ wine colour in real life. Many thanks.
