The family received a letter from the NHS Tissue and Organ donation service yesterday. The Old Man shuffled off in April this year and his donation has restored the eyesight of an 83 year old man and vastly improved the eyesight of an 81 year old lady. Chuffed :scorecard:

Thanks Shelly. All happy here, the Old Man didn't mope about, right up to the end when the nurse asked how he was he just smiled and said 'dam near perfect kid'. :)

As sad as a loss is it is marvellous what can be achieved by being a donor. I signed up as an organ donor a long time ago and the OP is the reason why. :thumbsup:
