What part of down under @colb ?. I ask because there has always been some confusion as to where
'down under" actually is. Common sense dictates that it should be anywhere below the tropic of Capricorn, but this is not the case. In Australia we like to think of ourselves as the place "down under" but our Kiwi friends across the ditch often refer to themselves as "down under" as well, and hence the confusion.. Across the ditch is referred to as New Zealand by the some Australians. However the actual name of the country is Aotearoa, New Zealand was adopted because the Aotearoa was too hard to pronounce. The rest of the Australians call it "Way down under" , 'Down under under" or "under down under".

Our adventure starts at Perth then Cairns followed by Sydney. Join a Cruise ship then to head over and around New Zealand returning to Sydney for flight home. Will of course be Z spotting whilst down there.
