I know what you mean about no time to work. For all my working life since leaving my parental home, I have commuted into London suburbs from near High Wycombe - about 18 miles each way - and worked long hours. Now my life moves at a slower pace but the clock and the calendar move increasingly faster. :oops:

My birthday fell 24h after yours as it happens., and my late father's would have been today (15th). My daughter's is the 10th, daughter-in-law the 12th, daughter's partner 19th. May is an expensive month!

Not too much hassle at the border, I hope. Did see a Z4 heading up the Llanberis pass last Friday ( I think it was Friday, all seems the same once you retire;) ) but too busy with the VTR to dawdle about behind tourists in cars.:whistle:
