Thank you everybody much appreciated. Not been on here to much of late as I've been working away loads and moved my son oop norf and generally been busy. So what did I get for my birthday ! A broken tooth !! Bit on a mint and crack ..... I thought the mint broke but alas the loud crack was my tooth splitting. In the present situation all the dentists are closed.

Hope it ain't too painful mate. If you can't get it fixed we have some stuff from the US which is brilliant for tooth pain and I'll happily send you some.

Thanks for the offer Tony but if I should ever be thankful for root canal procedure this is the time !! There is no pain as no roots but I can’t chew on it as I can feel the tooth open up and stretch the gum so need to be cautious about infection. My wife is a dental practice manager and is looking in to trying to pull some strings at work as they are still open but not practicing at present.
