Many thanks all.
Enjoyed a great birthday, including a surprise visit home from my son and daughter, bringing me a bottle of bubbly and a birthday cake. :)
They also treated me and Karen to a meal out in the evening, before travelling back to their own homes in London (son) and in Banbury (daughter). :D

And Karen got me one of these for my birthday: :-bd

Cheers Richard. Still reading the blurb and working things out, but I can switch it to either a 'small battery' setting (motorbike symbol) or a 'normal battery' setting (car symbol) or a 'cold weather' setting (snowflake symbol) and, if I'm reading the blurb correctly, looks to me like it does 0.8 amps for motorbike setting and 3.6 amps for the car setting. Do these amperages sound right to you?

Yes Shaun, that sounds about right. They also make a 5.5 & 7.6 (I think). They are great because you can just plug them in and leave them for months.
