What a beautiful picture!!!! All the colors are great........... the grey of the sky, the green background with the stone bridge and the brilliant white of the car, not to mention you (you can let go of it now,...its yours). What strikes me is that there is such a cloudy background and the car is in bright sunlight. How long did you have to wait for that? Quite a striking difference in the lighting. Very beautiful......... Frankie

Hi Frankie, the sunlight in the photograph was a pure fluke, we just happened to be in the right place at the right time.The sun always shines on the righteous.:cool: The viaduct in the background is on the Settle to Carlisle railway line at Ribblehead. in the Yorkshire Dales.

Great picture Mike, as you say a fluke maybe, but as you drive over those dales and watch the shadows of the clouds as they move across the landscape every minute offers some great photo opportunities.

Thanks Tony, as I said it was a fluke, we didn't have time to wait for the sun to come out, it just happened. In any case if you take enough pictures surely one will be a good-un!!! Sandy does have an eye for composure and generally takes a good picture. I have to be far more thoughtful to get a decent result,
