Happy birthday Zorg. I started life on the dark side then was invited to join a meet by @David through Zorg. There is no comparison. Well done Gaz for all your hard work keeping it upto speed and I suppose we should mention your pain in the ass Dutch munchkin @hard top who aids you in keeping us in line. Long may it continue!!

I was a member of the other side and was puzzled when it disappeared, then a couple of days later found Zorg, now there is no comparison. :thumbsup:
 
One of the things that has been lost in the sands of time is that we were never intended to be a competitor to anyone, just a stop gap until the other place came online again. Somewhere to keep everyone together and informed for what turned out to be around 3 weeks of down time. Someone then asked the question as to what was going to happen, and from the feedback people wanted it to continue - so it did. Some of the feedback that it had a different vibe/feeling, although we couldn't really put a finger on it.

But that's all long in the past, and we have our own comfy little space in the world.
 
I can only echo all that has been already said. I'm glad I found this site, . . . . . . even if you lot aren't.;).
Many thanks to Gaz and Mike for the day to day maintainance we would be up the creek without them.:thumbsup:

Cant believe i have been a member that long only feels like a couple of years ago. Not surprising it is still going strong with all the dedication of Board and members

Yeah, you were one of the very first to sign up as well. I created the Admin account, then Board's, then mine and you were the 5th after that. So you are officially a single digit member!

Really interesting read that Mike. A lot of names I've never seen on here and when you check them out they disappeared 5+ years ago some of them. A lot of names on there I still see on here almost daily so that says a lot about what a truly great site it is.
 
Congratulations on taking an idea and creating a great space and place @GazHyde. Thanks too for all the back office work that keeps the whole ticking over and moving forwards. A mention also for Mike for all the moderation work. :thumbsup:
