I want to replace my handbrake lever, does any have any tips for the removal, especially removing the centre console around the handbrake lever? Thanks

You should be able to do it by just removing the gaiter and removing the cables from the lever.

Is there enough room to get at the mounting bolts etc? My handbrake had been modified with a trashy aftermarket release, and I have an original to replace it..so its the swap I'm after!
Is it just the handle ? They pull off ?

Blue, along with Handbrake Gaitor, (Came off easy) and the Steering wheel tabs, also came off easy (As they were loosened not so long ago, remember Ant?) Hopefully have it all back together by the weekend, Currently looks like something Synclaire or Spursfan has had their hands on.

The handbrake just pulls off, however it can be attached to the gaitor via a cable tie, clip out the gaitor and turn it inside out, snip the tie and pull off the handle, it is just an interference fit.
