Can anyone tell me if there is an adjuster on the handbrake cable itself on a Z4 e85 ( like the Z3) or is the only adjustment on the handbrake shoes at the rear?

On the shoes, ratchet mechanism but you have to release the spring on the hand brake lever in the car. A couple of Videos on you tube slightly different to the E46 at the handbrake lever end
