Channel 4, the World's Fastest Van. He's taking on the ring, mad as a mongoose but a living legend!

Just watched it, brilliant, won't spoilt it in case people haven't watched it yet.
Went to see John McGuiness and Jamie Whitham last Wednesday and JM was full of praise for Guy as a teammate. Fantastic mechanic and all round fella, a big loss to the TT/motorbike world. He's obviously very happy though with all the projects he is involved with and what a man cave he has.

I'm just happy if he takes a step back from the risks, he's a great bloke and I want to se him around for a long time yet.

Tony.

loved it, reading one of his books at the moment, awesome guy and as Tony said, glad he has come (kind of) to his senses and not too risk too much (for the sake of his family)

Was it an re-run? Rings a bell. Was it a black transit?

Was the black transit but a new show, the other was when he took it to America.

I'm sure they said it was October 2018 so it was only a couple of weeks ago

I'll look it up on the ch4 hub then. Love Guy Martin, as said, a complete nutter but a proper proper fella.

It's his crashed van that he used on another race in US but new show! I'll watch it again

Just watching it now. So far great as usual.

Yup enjoyed that.

More unfinished business then, back for the speed record at some point. This, is Lincolnshire's very own, modern day Fred Dibnah. A man who "meks things in his shed" Top man.

Tony.

John McGuiness told a story about another project Guy has/is doing, a marathon cycling event somewhere in South America. The rider must carry all supplies with them, no back up vehicle, supplies can be topped up a specified locations only. Guy told John they had researched a special "food" for him. John thought it might be some special nutritious gel or bar, no said Guy, "Pork Scratchings"!!!

Loved the show only thing that wound me up was the shed bit, i have a shed with a lawn mower a wheel barrow and a few gardening bits in it. He has a shed with a lorry tractor unit and a four poster ramp!
