Sadly I do not think this is a great idea, but the lure of a competitive ride to secure a TT Win was obviously enough to get him back on the saddle, Guy has had his share of knocks and good fortune, not sure how many more he/his body can take!

I wish him the best of luck.

Me too Brian, I would really hate for him to push his luck too far.

Tony.

He will push his luck to far! I really like the fella but people like him that have a need to push as hard as possible rarely fair well in the end.

Donald Campbell comes to mind.

Tony.

The guys and gals that take part in these events are extremely brave to say the least and they all push there luck for the buzz they get from it. It becomes so addictive to them, that's the nature that drives them to do it and i take my hat off to them.
Have you seen them race at Maccaue ?(may have spelt that wrong). On some corners they glance the armco with there shoulders, just jaw dropping to witness .

Did anyone see the documentary on the Dunlops last night? Incredible.

He is a top bloke and the folks of Grimsby seem to have a soft spot for him, after all there's not much else in the town to be proud of :D, he has said he will not have children as he fears that he won't be around for them,
I was only talking about him today, we should have a mini meet and start from his pub in Kirminton, it has one of his bikes in it, he only bought the pub as it had closed and he wanted the village to have it open again as that is where he grew up.

Great idea to have a meet from his pub.

We do live in Winterton I moved here as it's my wife's home town. Not far from kirmington too so would be great to meet up there.

... as soon as the weather improves...
That should be quite soon then. This damp, dank weather should be on its way by the weekend:thumbsup:
