So first niggles... @MDEA
The passenger window isn't working.
There's no click no motion no sign that anything is sticking.
This was checked before the airbag module was replaced so I'm assuming he's unplugged something in the area where the module is.
Or is it on a relay..anyone know?

Very good point Ant.. I can't get to the car for a few days as it's not at my house.
I'm just trying to get all bases covered for when I get stuck in

I imagine it to be something simple if it worked before , if i remember correctly the connectors are a push fit on to pole type connections and there are no retaining clips to hold them on so its likely the cause as moving the console would dislodge them with ease. There are a couple of fuses but if you just put the lights on if the switch doesn't light it again indicates the connector is off .Hopefully its that simple .

found the window unplugged at the switch......window is a bit clunky so ill lube it up at some point....it seems to have no other mechanical faults.
engine oil seems to be clean and changed recently...but for the sake of a few quid it will get changed again along with the diff and gearbox oil.
new break fluid and coolant as well.
just had a price for the ronddels 21s to be refurbed and will fit a set off Avon ZV5s on them

first cleaning session tonight ,,,,the paint work feels like sand paper....so after washing iv started the claying process.
the only panel done is the bonnet ...after starting claying and looking at the clay i can only come to the conclusion that these .(well grit is the only was i can describe it )..is primer over spray as its red..!
however it has come off and its now got a smooth finish.
i have give the bonnet a quick machine polish to see what effect i can get and its ok but will require a good few sessions more to get the best out of it.
the grit effect is all over the car though ....so its going to be some long nights.
pics to follow ....forgot to take the phone

Looking good, can't wait to see the Rondells, one of my favorite 5 spoke wheels. Nice choice!

so ive started giving the paint work some stick.....we have tools and we're not afraid to use them!
ive clayed most of the panels now and found a few flaws,, but all in all its not bad for a car thats probably never had this kind of treatment.
the shine is starting to come through now but as we all know its never enough.
