Are you not at work this week then Dave

No mate back Monday.

Had another 30 minute run in the gym this afternoon. The display isn't clear but another 3.9km achieved. Really happy with how my stamina is improving. :)

You will find it will increase even more if you do leg exercises such as Squats, Star jumps and butt kicks etc

Happy bunny today. Hit the first milestone of 5km. Took me 38 minutes, Don't know if that's any good but I'm more than happy with that! :)

Good work that mate. I don't do the cross trainer.

When i first started i struggled to do any more than 3k but then i did HIIT and stayed off the cross trainer for 2 weeks and when i went back on it i was surprised how much easier it was and did 7.5k at 15kph on my first attempt. I am hoping to get back on the fitness game on Monday but will have to be careful of my Catheter

It's amazing how quick your fitness builds up Bill. Within a week of my first run I can't believe how much longer I can go without losing breath, No lung burn and I can get upstairs to the shower when I get back without squealing!!

Well after missing so much of my fitness program due to taking ill i decided to make a fresh start today. I am not doing any HIIT for the time being and i am sticking to the cross trainer.
I have just completed my first session of the week. 30 Mins 7.5k Which i am surprised i managed to do.
Hopefully i can carry this on again untill i get my Catheter removed and i am able to go back to both the Cross trainer and the HIIT on alternate days

and the HIIT on alternate days

I had to google that bilz, the Dutch explanation made me chuckle.....

HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is eigenlijk net zo als seks: kort,

HIIT is really just like sex: short..... =))

Well done mate. Can't be easy for you at the moment. Keep it up but don't push it till your fully up to speed again.
I've been to the gym the afternoon and done 4km in 30 mins on the thread mill. I'm really starting to enjoy it.

Yep small steps. I have lost around 12lb in weight in the last 8 weeks and i want to lose at least another 12lb. Luckily the weight loss has not been down to the illness as i had lost 10lb before it happened and 2lb after it happened. I know i am burning around 400 cals with every session on the cross trainer so add that to the more balanced meals (not the takeaways) and my normal working days where i do around 5 miles of walking should help me lose some more lbs

Was going to run the streets this morning but as it's persisting it down I went to the gym instead.
