Grumpys new work bus. (Let's play a game!)

Hi @Grumpy just had a thought, like you do.....
If you come on a cruise in it then BMG could come in his and not feel left out lol
Obviously you would have to be at the back and not talk to any of the superior Zed owners =))
Lol, no Pauline. The BMG machine won't be on the road in time to go to Holland. Shame that......:D

That's ok @Grumpy BMG not coming on the Holland run, but there will be another time lol
You'll have to decide which gang you want to be in, choose wisely my friend :D

Morning @Mrs Mint. Very early for you! It's not even 8!

You forget we are in France so it's 8.50 here, but if you insist I'll go back to bed lol
I'm shattered, just said to Dave I'll have to have some early nights on the Dutch cruise or I'll be asleep in the day and miss the scenery  :)
Time for a brew that'll wake me up lol

Ooh yeah I forgot! Are you both having a nice time? We love France.

Well I've got brave and got the spanners out today. I didn't have to get hold of @t-tony once lol! The rocker cover gasket was seeping badly so that's off and a new one ordered. Also the B pillar trim was rusted through at the bottom which looking at tinterweb is common and the drivers door mirror where it mounts to the body was broken so that's off and on the hunt for new ones. I've also buffed it up and must say it's coming up pretty well for a very poorly treated old bus.

When I took the rocker cover off theres 18 bolts holding it on so decided to make a template so they all go back into the same holes.

Thanks mate. As most will know I'm no mechanic but I do like to have a go, it's not a bad place to practice. It was cheap and if I break it trying at least I can say I've had a go. I wouldn't be as brave on the zed, the Rover even with my limited capabilities is very basic and so far appears easy to work on.

The thing is Dave that if you never try something you'll never know if you can do it! I used to tell my students that!! JIM

Not picking bones happy one ;)
With my limited spannering skills I'd be the last one to do that :).
