Grumpys in hospital

Hi all
ive just ticked a few things for dave on his behalf.
today has been a bit odd. Intravenous (? Spelling) antibiotcs removed and oral ones provided. Doctor today said he needs his gallbladder removing and said he was jaundiced. His eyes and skin are yellow - thats official. Due to waiting lists he was to be discharged and wait at home for a slot. Tonight he went downhill again so he is still in situ...word in ear was 'if u dont fight u dont get' tomorrow i'm back up fighting.
it never rains does it?.....

Sorry to hear it's not plain sailing Jue. Sometimes you have to stand up for yourself in those situations, they can't force you to take him home. Stand your ground me duck

I'm trying tony i am. It was because he had backup tonight they didnt shift him...he then went ill again so saved himself.
He isnt well. Peaks n troughs n all that.

Now then @Mint and @billz we still have a recce to do...bill i know this wasnt on your schedule but i will stand in n drive (in the saab lol) if youre still up for it? Xxxx

Still up for it if you are Jue,:thumbsup: but won't Dave be gutted if he doesn't do it as well? Don't worry about the recce, there's plenty of time to sort it out. I'm sure folks will understand if the update is a bit later than planned.;)

You were probably still whacked out on drugs T-!! Or I got a nurse who'd had a fight night before coming on shift. JIM
 
Mine was a lovely lady mate, all sweetness and light. Her and her fella had a VW Camper she told me, I still had my Eunos (MX5,Miata) at the time. I hadn't grown up yet !!=))

Hi Julia, hang in there, it's tough but now's when that stiff backbone comes into play. Don't let them bully you into taking him home. Chances as pretty damn good he'll end up in an ambulance right back in there very quickly. He needs to be stabilized for a while before they even consider sending him home. Good luck Angel! JIM
 
Jue like Dave (mint) says plenty of time to do the recce. I am sure we can all wait till Dave is a lot better

Dont worry about a recce, theres enough of us on here who know most of the roads and can put a run together(myself included) at a moments notice.
Just concentrate on Grumps getting outa there an on the road to recovery.
