There's a Euro trip already arranged and a number of people have committed to that, but it sure looks tempting

Have a look at the euro trip, you can add your name and get the tunnel and hotels booked. @pgunter will be able to guide you to as to what is what if your interested.

We are hoping to do Austria next year but for this year we have to settle for a trip to Holland and onto Switzerland at the end of June with a few others off here and a trip through the Pyrenees in September to Spain

Have you got the files for the cruise yet Bill?

Dave What files ?. Are you coming to Switzerland with us :ymdevil::thumbsup::whistle:

No, the files for the Dutch cruise?

Not yet Dave

Ress. I think you will find most people going on the Euro cruise in June have already made their plans. Some are doing the Holland trip and then heading back on the Monday and 3 of us are heading over to Mulhouse on the Monday taking in the Gran Ballon before spending around 3 days doing some of the Swiss Passes. Like the Susten, Grimsel, Nuffenen and Furka also we will be taking in the Kluasan Pass and having a trip to Grindelwald where the Eiger is, before heading back home on the Friday, Saturday and catching the Tunnel on the Sunday

Did Grossglockner 2 years ago in the wife's Yaris on the way down to Italy & then Grimsel on the way back, said at the time this would be much more fun in the Zed

I am actually in the planning stages for next year. I just have to wait for the road closures to be available for my planning. Will be going in July and plan to visit the Restaurant that was featured in the new James Bond film in Soelden and drive over to the Grossglockner.
At the moment i have planned Reims, Mulhouse, Leichtenstein and Soelden

Sounds interesting..

If all goes well it will be a 16 day round trip. Austria is one of the Alps areas i have always wanted to do but keep running out of days holidays to fit everything in

Sounds like a great trip, but I'm afraid we're hopeless at planning that far ahead .But just booked a flight to Geneva in July with a couple of friends will hire a car and take them to see the Eiger and do some passes as they haven't done it,but the real reason is to catch the last couple of days of the Tour de France ,Alberville,Mont Blanc

@billz you will love the Austrian Alps. Have been throughout the southern half a couple of times and being of Austrian heritage felt I was right at home there. The roads are great with little traffic and the scenery is fantastic as you'd expect!! JIM

May b up for that, we did 7 passes on the bike back in June but haven't ridden the glockner, could b good fun
