Hello all, my wife and I have a 2005 Z4 2.0 SE, nothing special but fun to escape in. It’s just suffered the expected roof motor failure and that’s how I found this forum. I’ve read the great write up about moving the motor/pump into the boot so I’ll be having a go at that once we get moved into our house. The other motor that unlatches from the top of the windscreen has started playing up too!
We live on the north coast of Northern Ireland so the roof doesn’t get down often!!!
did you manage to relocate the motor? Did mine yesterday. please post if you encounter any problems when you do it if you havnt already done it

I've not had the chance yet what with our house move, got as far as removing the shelf and motor side bracket, then peeled a bit of the tape off, couldn't get plastic housing to separate. Hope to try again when I've time to myself.
