Archived Grand event for 2013 request for ideas

There is a very car friendly hotel in Llandrindodd Wells.
Several weekend Z events have used it in the past and from memory we had 35-40 Zs there. The owner, Justin, has or at least had a Z4 and came out on one of the drives.
There are some fabulous roads in the area for both fast driving and/or scenic.
The BMWCC used it very recently for a weekend but ignore the price they had it was way over what we negotiated. The hotel also has a huge car park.

How about a Dyno day, and arrange a group discount for remaps for those who want them?

Good suggestion Rev, almost like our own Zed show! What about about an autojumble, possibly next to your own car aswell, another interesting idea for entertainment to attract Zedders to the event (Maybe even trade stands, especially detailing ones, Mark!! but that may open a can of worms)

Duncan has asked me to give this thread a quick update (he's having internet issues at home). A lot of background activity has been going on around this subject, and we are expecting an announcement this weekend! The BMW Car Club are coordinating something very exciting!

Also, Duncan is putting the finishing touches to the video of the 34 car convoy leaving the Horwood House Hotel. If you can remember that far back he set his camera up near the end of the hotel drive and recorded us all as we left. It has an exciting message included in it, which is just awaiting for approval on the wording before it's released.
