Got shot yesterday

Bloody hell mate! :wideyed:. I have to say meeting Bri and Julie on several ocassions i can't imagine they have made many enemies over the years!
It sounds like a random moronic scrote to me with nothing better to do. Bloody shame the cctv couldn't help, problem with me though if it had I'd have been on the hunt which probably wouldn't have ended well.
I hope you can get it sorted quickly and enjoy your Christmas. :hohoho::reindeer:
Thanks for the kind words Dave,I’m sure those who know me realise
I’m a long way from being a thug=)) !
We will enjoy Xmas regardless and I hope you enjoy yours too :thumbsup:

Probably just mindless idiots who think that's a fun way to spend their time. I wouldn't take it too personally. If it was a targetted attack I suspect that you would have some idea who was involved. Mind you I have thought of coming up and knicking those very nice wheels off your zed.;)
Cheers Ken.. now I’ve got to be on the look out for wheel thieves:wideyed:
As well as a silver Golf:whistle:

Sorry to hear this I have had an on going issue for two and a half years with an idiot and know how worrying these things can be. With luck its just a random act of stupidity by the local village idiot.

Not good mate but hopefully just a random pop from the local f**kwits who clearly have the combined IQ of a thin plank of wood.

It has happened here as well.. Punka** kids with nothing better to do, getting kicks out of making other people pi**ed. Thank goodness it was not something bigger than a pellet or bb gun, which is bad enough.

Consulted the boss and was told it was likely to be criminal damage only. Which is probably why the Police didn’t get too excited. In other words no different to someone keying your car. How can that be a reasonable approach?

However if this was done with a knowledge of someone standing behind the glass then it’s much more serious. Assault with intent to endanger life.

I think I agree if it happened to me I’d be calling 999 and just saying a gun had been fired.

Speaking to a friend who is a policeman in Glasgow, they are so stretched that they no longer investigate car crime or house break-in. That's what austerity has done for us.

We had a friend fairly high up in Notts police and she said they will not respond to burglary or below unless it is an armed offence now. It's very sad it's come to this, people don't feel they have the protection anymore and this country certainly ain't as calm as it was 30 years ago.

The police are sooooooo stretched that their presence is virtually non-existent. And any real additions to their existing numbers (IF this happens) will only take the numbers back to where they were in the 70s. The message this sends out? People so-minded to harass, harm, damage, hurt, etc. know there’s no judicial comeback so we’re living in crime rising times.

I’m very sorry to read about this and the other experiences people have had. The positive is that no-one was hurt.

Austerity may have been a contributing factor to lower numbers in the Police force, but give a thought as to why these measures had to be brought in. Then let's see if this new government can and will try to reverse things. I for one think they will and surely hope they do.

Tony.

Bloody hell Brian , just caught up with this and very sorry to read it. Hope it was a one off and not targeted

I totally agree pal, I'm behind Boris, I'm sure he will plug some of the leaks in benefits, millions of pounds that are leaving this country every week,

Thankfully nothing else to report, hope that’s it now apart from
The expense of the replacement windows:mad::mad:
As for the police i think that being on hold for 90 mins to answer
The phone gives some sort of indicator of just how stretched they are!
Just hope Boris will keep all the promises given :wideyed::wideyed::wideyed::wideyed:
Time will tell:whistle:

Saw a ford sat on bricks in town yesterday. Thought wheel theft had all but disappeared.

You're experiencing what has happened here for some years now. In our home in California, police wouldn't even respond to a burglary or robbery, unless there were injuries. Just fill out a report and give a copy to your insurance. Thueves aren't stupid, they know ir isn't lijrly police will show , so crime started rising. It is another reason to support our 2nd Constitutional Amendment. When I waz on the job years ago, I felt sorry for people in the city, where you could own a gun, but it had to be kept in a gun range locker, and took several werks of background checks to get a permit to purchase one. Not much help in a home invasion...

Wont be long before we start seeing vigilantes on the streets

They already are out there in some areas mate, and it's likely to escalate too. It'll likely end up like the Neighbourhood Watch only with real people on the streets.

Tony.

Are the "Guardian Angels" still active in USA ?
