Look what a little scroat did to my front bay window yesterday!!!!

shot from a passing car ,looks like either a pellet or a ball bearing gun!
Watching football when an almighty crack scared me to death . Jumped up
And went into front garden expecting to see some young kids in a gang
Maybe but no , nothing ,nobody in the street at all.

On inspection found perfect round hole in double glazing thankfully only
Outer pane cracked!Big question WHY ?? what on earth do the scum in this world
Get out of causing malicious damage like this .
Reporting it to the police was a task in itself, 90mins on hold before speaking to someone!!!
Next door neighbours cctv shows a Golf stopping briefly outside my house then
Shooting off (ha ha ) down the road
Merry Xmas everyone apart from you know who
 
Sorry to hear this Brian, puts my little vandal scratch into perspective. :(
 
Did they ever get anyone for breaking in/ stealing your car the other year Brian? Could be someone letting you know they’re still out there.

Thanks Paul , but it’s not always the size of the crime ,it’s the fact
That they take time out to commit these things that create so much
Heartache! We have been trying to think if we’ve upset somebody,
Or any other reason for it but hope it’s just a random hit :mad::mad:
 
The fact the car slowed makes me think it was a targeted thing Brian, I’m sorry to say. Did they get the reg.of the Golf?

That was three years ago Tony believe it or not !!
Never been informed if they did get anybody for it so no?
But the bas——s are still out there but same ones ? Who knows?
 
Those types of arseholes do some strange things mate, things “normal” people would never dream of.

No couldn’t get reg of Golf, so much for cctv:mad:
I would like to think if it was me who was targeted they would
Have shot my car rather than the house.
I do live close to a junction so they have to slow down anyway
And then around the corner quick then out of site.

On the escape route but all you can see is the side view of the Golf:mad:
 
Is the pellet not trapped between the glass, I have seen this before and the pellet was at the bottom

A mate of mine had a similar incident a couple of years ago, he heard a crack on his bedroom window but didn't see that it had been hit, so he looked out with his hand cupped around his face as it was dark outside, the second shot would have hit him clean in the face if the second pane had let go. Turned out someone was hidden under his hedge in wait for him, he'd had previous threats from animal rights activists as he is a falcone, it happened again a few weeks later.

We had this many years ago. Some local kid but we could never prove it.

90 minutes for the police? I'd have called 999 - "Shots fired". Let them work out it was a bb gun.

Do you have a local neighbourhood watch/police liaison meeting?
Airing this kind of thing at one of those asking what the police are doing to stamp it out. OK, was probably a bb gun, but a weapon is still dangerous. Put pressure on the police in public to get some action. If you don't ask you don't get. If you don't, it's just a statistic.
 
Bloody hell mate! :wideyed:. I have to say meeting Bri and Julie on several ocassions i can't imagine they have made many enemies over the years!
It sounds like a random moronic scrote to me with nothing better to do. Bloody shame the cctv couldn't help, problem with me though if it had I'd have been on the hunt which probably wouldn't have ended well.
I hope you can get it sorted quickly and enjoy your Christmas. :hohoho::reindeer:
 
Probably just mindless idiots who think that's a fun way to spend their time. I wouldn't take it too personally.If it was a targetted attack I suspect that you would have some idea who was involved. Mind you I have thought of coming up and knicking those very nice wheels off your zed.;)
 
Ooooh, arent they big men . . .

Driving around in a golf (so nothing fancy/succesful then). Firing a childs pellet gun (scary!). At a window (tough target selection). When no-one is around to confront them (scaredy cats).

Whimps . . .

They are the losers of this world, not you. Yes its a mission to get the window fixed. But dont waste your time reflecting on the motivation of the low-life pond scum.

Police made a visit tonight ,saw the damage and looked at neighbours
cctv footage but no reg number visible.
Did say they will patrol area but who knows, and will look out for the
Silver Golf.
